Before co-founding MSB Mike served in several senior financial positions within the International Life Segment of ACE Limited, an international insurance company (ACE); first as Chief Financial Officer and then as SVP, Global Operational Initiatives. Previous to his positions at ACE Mike was the owner of Snider Consultancy LLC, a CPA firm specializing in Litigation Support, Business Valuations and Merger and Acquisition Support. Mike spent 22 years with Primerica, a group of wholly owned subsidiaries of Citigroup. While at Primerica, Mike served at various times, in a number of capacities for most of the companies within the group; including: Board Member, Executive Vice President, CFO, Controller, and Treasurer. During his tenure with Primerica, Mike led the company’s international expansion effort- establishing a life insurance company in Ireland and insurance agencies in Spain and the UK; established the company’s Accounting Department; participated in a principal role on several mergers, sophisticated financing arrangements and corporate reorganization efforts; and, worked extensively with the attorneys of Primerica and Citigroup providing litigation support.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; a Practitioner Member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts; a member of the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors.
Additionally Mike is a Limited Partner in Seraph Group (a venture capital firm) and Seraph Management LLC and a Limited Partner in The Alliance for Corporate Wealth, LLC.
John has been active in marketing and management consultancy in the United States of America since the late -1980’s when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Manhattan based marketing consultancy, Moss International Inc.
During that time he devised and implemented a number of highly successful marketing campaigns on behalf of blue chip British companies. The Dewar’s Heritage Marketing Campaign broke new ground placing the White Label brand in the US liquor market. The launch of the Bentley Mulsanne S on behalf of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars simultaneously in Manhattan and Los Angeles resulted in coverage on all coast-to-coast prime time television news programs and a full order book for 18 months.
Drawing on his experience in both managing and promoting British companies entering the US market place John has established a successful consultancy practice leading British and European companies through the complexities of establishing their businesses in the United States and implementing their marketing strategies.
He recognised at an early stage that success in entering the international market relied not only on understanding the rules of the game but the ability to introduce clients to high level contacts who could deliver all the essential parts of the business jigsaw.
John has also gained public sector experience working on projects with the New York Police Department and the United Nations Commission for Trade and Development.
